Meanwhile on the Left Coast, we’re gearing up for another Masquerade Tea Party! Last year’s Mad Hatter Masquerade at Center Space was so much fun that we decided to do it again with a different twist. JUJUBA will be returning as the headliner for THE JUNGLE LOVE MASQUERADE on May 31st at Center Space (420 SE 6th Ave) in Portland, Oregon. Come dressed as a jungle maiden, warrior, monkey, tiger, tigress, your favorite jungle creature, Tarzan, Jane, or anything freaky deaky on the jungle tip! JUJUBA (11 piece Afrobeat Nigerian funk) will take the stage around 10ish and the party will continue until the sun shines! Be prepared to dance your ass off! DJ Devon brings his unique form of abstract electronica to the table along with the indigenous sounds of The Late Night Freak Out Odyssey. Tickets are only available at the door starting at 9pm on Saturday night for just $15. Free tea and dank organic treats shall be shared by all! Come early b/c this event will sell out. Since Center Space is a dance and yoga studio, this is a non-alcohol oriented event.
